Active Kids

Make physical activity a regular part of your day. Lead by example and be active with your children . The recommended daily Physical activity for children are that toddlers
(1 to 3 years) and preschoolers (3 to 5 years) should be physically active every day for at least three hours, this can be spread out over the day.

The benefits to being active include;


• Strong, muscles, bones and joints.
• Improved co-ordination and balance.
• Strong heart and lungs.
• Improved self confidence.
• Willingness to try new activitites
